Do you wonder where all the violence the hate, the sin where it comes from? Statistics say every year 619,591 abortion is being reported, Number of annual jail admissions 505,000 just in the state of Texas. More than 50,000 juveniles are arrested in Texas or referred to the juvenile probation system. There's no prayer in the school, An overwhelming share of America’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender adults (92%) say society has become more accepting of them in the past decade and an equal number expect it to grow even more accepting in the decade ahead. I say where is all this coming from? We often blame society sometimes we blame our teachers our pastors a lot of times we blame it on our authorities our governments our president maybe sometimes we blame it on our friends the people who we hang around with. And many times we blame it from the devil even though we know he creates all this. Who do we blame the chaos the confusion the darkness the evil it is rampant in our lives and we ask where did it come from? It's time to stop blaming everybody and everything we need to take responsibility and acknowledge it's coming from the root of our heart is coming from the evilness of our heart. Jeremiah says The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Jesus teaches Adultery in the Heart in Matthew 5:27-28 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Violence comes from the heart, adultery comes from the heart. Sin comes from the heart. In Genesis 4:6 So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Sin lies at the door what is the door? Our heart, our heart the bible says, 2 Timothy 2:22 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. James tells us but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Is time to guard our heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs tells us My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways. We got to do a Self Examination all through the bible teaches us to examine our self. 1 Corinthians 11:28 But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 2 Corinthians 13:5 Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test? Lamentations 3:40 Let us examine and probe our ways, And let us return to the Lord. Galatians 6:4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. Let this be your prayer,....Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight— That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise. A Prayer of Repentance recorded in the book of Psalm 51:1-19 Listen to this song it will bless your heart. God Bless -Esmeralda Kachmar
