![]() Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. These scriptures are benefits of justification. In verse -1 Justification is God's righteous act of removing the combination of guilt and penalty of sin, by grace while at the same time declaring the ungodly to be righteous, through faith in Christ atoning sacrifice. What does it mean to be justified? Simply put to justify is to declare righteous, to make one right with God. (To be just or righteous). We also look in verse-1 peace with God (That means we were at war with God). We enter to a state of peace with God, we are in the family and accepted it in the family. Now lets look in verse 2 access with God (We have privilege access). We stand in grace and we have access to go to his throne. We can pray - we can worship - we have a living relationship with God that's where this begins. Still in verse -2 hope in God. Hope in the Bible, a confident expectation no doubt, assurance. - hope in this future Glory - everyone who is justified is also glorified. To be continue part 2. God Bless, -Esmeralda Kachmar
