Exodus 20:1-6
And God spoke all these words, saying: 2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 “You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. We become what we worship Psalm 115:4-8 Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands. 5 They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; 6 They have ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell; 7 They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat. 8 Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them. There only one God! Isaiah 40:5“To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?” says the Holy One. Dad Uzziah Reigns in Judah 2 Chronicles 26 Son Jotham Reigns in Judah 2 Chronicles 27:1-9 Grandson Ahaz Reigns in Judah 2 Chronicles 28:1-4 Great Grandson Ahaz son 2 Kings 16:1-3 Do you see the generation curse in this story? Parents we have a responsibility to teach our children in several ways, including Nurturing them, in Deuteronomy 6:7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Teach them to Love and live for Jesus in Ephesians 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Lead them to true worship, teach the to serve the Lord and only Him. May God be with you and your family and Bless you and shine His face upon you! God Bless, Esmeralda Kachmar

An enemy Is someone who is actively against or is unfriendly toward someone.
When someone actively against you, they are actively resisting or refusing to comply. The conflicting of an enemy is someone who is a partner or supporter. According to the Bible, there are a few enemies. Satan is an enemy and those who oppose the Truth that Jesus is the Savior of the world. Death and friendship with the world are also enemies we face on this side of heaven. There is a specific verse about enemies related to being opposed because you told the truth. Have you ever corrected someone (out of love) just to have them turn on you? Satan “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” – 1 Peter 5:8 Satan opposes God, God’s people, and God’s plans. Death “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” – 1 Corinthians 15:26 One day, there will be no more death, but on this side of heaven, death is an enemy. Friendship with the World is an Enemy of God “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” – James 4:4 The world opposes Jesus and the Truth of Scripture, living devoted to self, rather than devoted to God. People Opposed to Christ “For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.” – Philippians 3:18 Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life- many reject that reality, therefore becoming an enemy of Jesus. Truth Tellers “Have I then become your enemy by telling you the truth?” – Galatians 4:16 Whether you are sharing the gospel or correcting someone with love, we can quickly become an enemy when the truth is rejected. Remember, when you share the truth and it is rejected, you may face opposition. Someone who may have been open-minded can quickly oppose the Truth (and you), becoming an enemy. God Bless, Esmeralda Kachmar God's Deliverance- The Jewish people are rescued and delivered When Hamman tried to destroy the Jews in the Assyrian Kingdom Esther fasted for 3 days along with her maidens. God intervened mightily saving them and destroying their enemies. The book of Esther where you won’t find the word God mentioned how ever everything in it screams “God is in control.” Whose finger is the ring on in your life? Haman was out and Mordecai was in! The king's signet ring, which had been on Haman's wicked finger, was now placed upon Mordecai and with it came the authority to rule on behalf of the king. We could see if the evil that was decreed under the rule of Haman could be surpassed by the good that was available under the authority of Mordecai. Now do you remember who these two men are a picture of? Haman is a picture of the fleshly nature in man where as Mordecai is a type of the Holy Spirit. Both claim the right to rule. Mordecai in charge would lead to great rejoicing and changes throughout the land. But first there is a certain previous decree to deal with. Queen Esther falling down at the feet of the king pleading on behalf of her people to stop this evil plan. Haman. Surely the king would simply revoke this terrible law now that Haman had been unmasked. As we shall see, even the king himself couldn't revoke this law! God's two eternal laws for all mankind Let's look at these two laws in regards to the penalty for sin. The first law (as pictured by Haman's law decreeing death upon the Jewish race) was summed up by Ezekiel, 'The soul who sins will die'(Ezek 18:4) or as Paul wrote in Romans 6:23 'the wages of sin is death.' That is the decree from God and it is set in concrete. It states that the payment for sin is death and this is speaking of both physical and spiritual death. Like the Persian laws of old, this cannot be revoked or annulled, and has been decreed upon the entire human race. That, my friend, is the bad news. Now for the good news! The same King of heaven who decreed the first law has also given one that brings freedom, joy and eternal life! The new decree states that 'that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved' for ' the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ' (Romans 10:9, 6:23). Just as the Jews were given the second decree that could bring deliverance from the first, so this eternal decree has gone throughout the world so that all who believe may find grace, forgiveness and life! The two laws and the power of sin Did you know that there are not only two laws concerning the penalty of sin, but there are also two laws governing the power of sin? This is summed up by the Apostle Paul in Romans 8 where he writes: Romans 8:1-4 A 'law' is something that is constant and does not change. This could be a governmental law such as 'You must pay taxes! Our The law of gravity says what goes up must come down. Isaac Newton sat under an apple tree a apple hit him in the head he wondered why didn't the apple float up and that's where the law of gravity was discovered so whatever goes up must come down this is a law of nature. Well in the spiritual world, Paul spoke of two laws that operate as well. Two laws for the power of sin The first is called 'the law of sin and death'. The second is 'the law of the Spirit of life'. Both are in operation at the same time and both influence the believer. The first operates through man's fallen nature pulling him down and leading to sin. It is summed up in Romans chapter 7 with Paul saying "I do not understand my own action for I do not do what I want and I do the very thing that I hate. I can will what is right but I cannot do it." (Romans 7:18-20). Never forget that this law exists. Without living in a dependency upon the Holy Spirit whom God has given all believers, all that even a true child of God can expect is failure. It is a law. It changes not! It brings sin, failure and discouragement. Don't be surprised when this law operates in you! Yet praise God that a second law has been enacted that is more powerful and when taken into account brings freedom from the first law! Like Mordecai writing the new law to grant freedom and liberty to the Jews condemned to die under Haman's law, so God has given a new decree that declares that the Spirit whom he has given believers can and will free them from the bondage of the law of sin and death.. Prayer List- Write down your prayer request, and names of loved ones.-Esmeralda KachmarGod is making all things new. Stepping Into a New Season With God Means Letting Go of the Old.
ISAIAH 43:18-19 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. God calls us to let go of “former things,” so we can cling to our new identity in Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! You are new in Christ, even today. God is in the business of making all things new. -Esmeralda Kachmar The cost of following Jesus When we follow Christ we give up our will and start to seek his will for each aspect or decision we make in our life. James 4:13-15 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” God Bless, Pastor Esmeralda Kachmar THE SECRET OF SALVATION IS YOU DID NOT FIND HIM HE FOUND YOU. THE LADY AT THE WELL SHE WASN'T TRYING TO FIND JESUS, JESUS FOUND HER. SHE JUST WANTED TO FILL HER WATER JAR AT THE WELL. THE SAMARITAN WOMAN DREW WATER AT NOON TO AVOID PEOPLE SHE HAD BEEN SHAMED AND REJECTED BY HER COMMUNITY. JESUS WAS GOING TO GALILEE IN JOHN 4:3 HE LEFT JUDEA AND DEPARTED AGAIN TO GALILEE. 4 BUT HE NEEDED TO GO THROUGH SAMARIA. 5 SO HE CAME TO A CITY OF SAMARIA WHICH IS CALLED SYCHAR, NEAR THE PLOT OF GROUND THAT JACOB GAVE TO HIS SON JOSEPH. JESUS FOUND YOU! WE LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVES US. JOHN 15:6 “YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME BUT I CHOSE YOU, AND APPOINTED YOU THAT YOU WOULD GO AND BEAR FRUIT, AND THAT YOUR FRUIT WOULD REMAIN, SO THAT WHATEVER YOU ASK OF THE FATHER IN MY NAME HE MAY GIVE TO YOU.” Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” 2 Timothy 1:9 “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity” Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.” 2 Thessalonians 2:13 “But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.” I pray these scriptures His word will bless you. Jesus Christ is calling YOU! Love you God Bless, Pastor Esmeralda Kachmar HEAVEN OR HELL YOU CHOOSE We have lost the meaning of holiness in this generation. Holiness has been swept under the rug. THE BIBLE says in 2 Corinthians 7:1 Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. Church we have lost the fear of God. If we can put the fear of God back into our hearts than we can walk in His Holiness. 1 Peter 1:14–16 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” If you notice Peter addressed to persecuted Christians (you also be holy in all your conduct). Be holy in all your conduct in everything you do, in your conversation in your dealings of business in what you hear what you watch in everything. God has called every Christian to a holy life. The word holy signifies a "separation to God, to live a holy life is to live a life in conformity to the principle of the Bible and in contrast to the sinful ways of the world. Lets bring back Holiness and fear of God back to the Church, (You are the Church). Separate yourself from this world, from the ways of this world. Paul teaches the Church to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. If you can line your life with the word of God than you will learn how to walk in the fear of God and His Holiness. God Bless Love You, -Pastor Esmeralda Kachmar Lord, I offer you my body as a living sacrifice. Help me, through your Holy Spirit who lives in me, to be holy as you are holy Amen. In Psalm 118, the author is writing about His adversities. It's not written when times are good, but when times are really hard. Situations were changing. The Psalmist cried out to God in anguish, he was surrounded on all sides by the enemy. He felt pushed back, and about to fall. Yet right in the midst of huge struggles shared, this chapter both starts and ends with the same verse, of giving thanks and praise unto God. "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love endures forever." v. 1,29. Give thanks no matter what, Give thanks when your down, give thanks when nothing goes right, give thanks to the Lord. Such a powerful reminder to us, True joy is never dependent on our circumstances. Definition of joy in the Bible is our strength in Nehemiah 8:10...for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Rejoice in the Lord today! God Bless, -Esmeralda Kachmar His word is so good. King James Bible Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. New International Version Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. New Living Translation Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness. Contemporary English Version You are wonderful, LORD, and you deserve all praise, because you are much greater than anyone can understand. Good News Translation The LORD is great and is to be highly praised; his greatness is beyond understanding. Holman Christian Standard Bible Yahweh is great and is highly praised; His greatness is unsearchable. International Standard Version The LORD is great, and to be praised highly, though his greatness is indescribable. Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Secret Place, is a place that only you and God comes together and meet. A place where you can hid from all the cares of this world, a place that you feel safe, a place where you fellowship with the Lord and you become oneness with Him. The bible teaches us in Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. shut the door means, close the door from the world from everyone and only you in Jesus is in that secret place, that place of safety a place where you feel and know His presences is there. He who dwells, meaning He who reside, He who lives, He who settled in that place. So when you pray in your closet, can be your room your bathroom anywhere, where you can go alone with God and pray. do not pray just five minutes and say your little prayer and get up and go stay there till you call God's presences down where your at, till you know you got a breakthrough till you know you have had fellowship with Him, stay and pray don't get up so fast wait upon Him till you hear Him. Our Heavenly Father longs to fellowship with us He wants to talk to us. Under the Shadow of the Almighty, that tells me when I am dwelling in my secret place with God, He is there with me and His evidence is His Shadow. Find a secret place where you and God can hid and fellowship. Love Ya'll, God Bless, -Esmeralda Kachmar Mighty hand of God is at work Don’t trust in your situation and don’t look to what is seen. All the trials you go through in life is making you stronger. You will see God working in your life if you’re a Christian. You won’t remain in those trials don’t give up. You will go through trials and get out and then go back in them, but always remember the mighty hand of God is at work. Don’t waste trials go into that prayer closet and cry out to God. Glorify God in your suffering not my will God, but your will. God will help you have faith. Yes it is important to read His Word, but you must call on the Lord daily. You must build your prayer life. God will not leave his children. Don't give up trust in Him. Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me. 2 Chronicles 15:7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. His word Matthew 4:4 But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” Proverbs 6:23 For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life, Job 22:22 Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart.
